It was a really nice bright day with little cloud cover that afternoon which let me max out my shutter speed while staying at 200 ISO and shooting nearly wide open aperture wise. This was the first time i've shot baseball with my Tamron 70-200 f/2.8 since I upgraded from the stock Canon 70-300 f/4.5-5.5. Having only shot one other game ever, this was still a learning experience. Subtracting the extra 100mm really hurt me. I felt I was to far from the game due to the fact I was restricted by a fence which held me back pretty far from the action resulting me to crop a little to get tighter shots. After playing around with the aperture I found that shooting wide open wasn't necessary. I was getting decent compression on the back ground regardless of shooting from 2.8 to 3.2 or 3.5. What I found was that my tracking in my camera wasn't to great (which I already knew with a T2i). This caused me to get a lot of out of focus shots, so in retrospect, I could have shot at f/4. Because of this I'm probably going to bring my stock Canon lens to the next game just to test out the differences. Anyways, these were the shots I got
